Q: Is WooCommerce required?
No. The theme works perfectly without it for blogs and corporate sites. Install WooCommerce only if you need e-commerce functionality — though most of the bundled Aaima plugins do require it.
Q: Do I have to install all 22 plugins?
No, and you should not. Each plugin is standalone and independent. Install only what your shop actually needs — a blog needs none of them, while a typical shop might use three or four.
Q: How do I import demo content?
Go to Aaima → Demo Import, select your preferred demo style, and click "Import". The process creates 12 blog posts, 36 products (18 simple + 18 variable), categories, and pages automatically.
Q: How do I set up free shipping over a certain amount?
Install Aaima Table Rate Shipping, then go to Table Rates → Free shipping bar and set the amount. It applies across every shipping zone, and shows customers a progress bar telling them how much more they need to spend. Remember to turn off the theme's own free shipping bar so the message does not appear twice.
Q: Can I still charge for express delivery when free shipping applies?
Yes. The aaima_table_rate_make_rate_free filter receives each rate and can return false to leave it chargeable. Local pickup is never zeroed automatically.
Q: Are the PDF invoice numbers legally compliant?
The numbering is designed around the usual requirements — sequential, never reused, and explainable. Numbers are claimed through a unique database index, so two orders completing simultaneously can never share a number. Set your numbering before going live, since issued numbers are permanent by design.
Q: Can customers download their own invoices?
Yes, from My Account. You choose which document types and which order statuses are available. Invoices can also be attached automatically to any WooCommerce email.
Q: Is the theme compatible with shipping plugins like Packlink PRO?
Yes. The theme includes all standard WooCommerce action hooks for compatibility with shipping plugins (Packlink PRO, Boxtal, Chronopost, Colissimo, Mondial Relay, DPD, UPS, ShipStation), payment plugins, wishlist plugins, and filter plugins.
Q: Is everything translated into French?
Yes. Every Aaima plugin ships with a complete French translation — not a partial one. The theme itself is fully translation-ready with RTL support and works with WPML, Polylang, and Loco Translate.
