Super Menu Editor Pro
Decide exactly what each role and each user sees in the WordPress admin. Reorder and rename the menu, hide pages, block direct access and grant access to the pages someone needs.
Powerful Features
Everything you need to give each person a clean admin, made for their job
Drag & Drop Menu Editor
Reorder menus and submenus, move a submenu into another menu, rename items and change their icons. Update and comment counters are kept.
Per Role and Per User
Pick a role or a single user and tick what they can open. The ticks follow their real WordPress permissions.
Grant Access
Tick a page someone has no permission for and they can open it, including plugin pages and settings forms.
Hidden Means Blocked
A hidden page can't be opened by typing its address. The user sees "Access denied" with the exact reason.
Hide Plugins and Users
Hide plugins and user accounts from chosen roles or people. They can't deactivate, delete or edit what they can't see.
Fully in French
The admin, the access messages and the built-in help guide are translated into French, with a template for other languages.
A Closer Look

Drag rows to reorder, or drop a submenu into another menu. Items added by a new plugin get a "New" badge so you notice them.
Settings → Menu Editor → Admin Menu👥 Roles and Users
Ticked means they can open it. 🔒 means they have no WordPress permission; tick it to grant access (🔑). Unticking a menu unticks its submenus too.
Admin Menu → Edit visibility for✏️ Rename, Icons and Rules
Open any row to rename it, pick an icon, and set who sees it by role, with exceptions for single users.
Admin Menu → open a rowAccess denied
You do not have sufficient permissions to access this admin page.
Reason: The "Tools" menu item is explicitly disabled for the user "nawab".
« Back⛔ Direct Access Blocked
Typing the address of a hidden page shows the reason: a user, a role, or everyone. A hidden Dashboard sends people to their first available page.

➕ Custom Links, Headings, Separators
Group the menu with headings and separators, and add links to any page or website, opened in a new tab if you like.
Admin Menu → Menu item · Heading · Separator🧰 Clean Toolbar
Links to hidden pages disappear from the top toolbar too, on the site and in the admin. Account and log-out links always stay.

🔌 Plugin Visibility
Hidden plugins keep working. Those users can't see, deactivate, delete, update or edit them, and don't get their update notices.
Settings → Menu Editor → Plugin Visibility| Who | After login | After logout |
|---|---|---|
| 👤 julie | {admin_url}/edit.php?post_type=page | |
| Shop manager | {admin_url}/edit.php?post_type=shop_order | {site_url}/ |
| Everyone else | {admin_url}/profile.php | {site_url}/?bye={user_login} |
↪️ Login and Logout Redirects
Send each user or role to the right page after login, logout or registration. A user's own redirect beats their role's.
Settings → Menu Editor → RedirectsAll (5 4) | Administrator (2 1) | Editor (2) | Author (1)

🙈 Hidden Users
Remove an account, such as your developer's, from the user list and counts. Other admins can't edit, delete or change its role.
